Many times, clients come to me and say, design me a website. What they don’t realize is the number of questions I need answered to guide me in starting their project. So, here’s a short list of questions that will help both of us in discovering what we want from their website. It will define what goals they have for their business and how best to represent those in a website.
The Homework
- What is the goal of your website?
- Define your business.
- How much do you want to be apart of the design process?
- Do you have imagery, music, content prepared?
- Do you have a current website/hosting setup?
- Any colors or theme in mind?
- Provide a list of websites that you feel encompasses your future site’s goals and why.
